Nice shot, part 4

The Color of Money
Martin Scorsese stepped in to direct this sequel to The Hustler, and he infuses it with the same high-energy visual style he's usually known for. In this shot (which I've always loved, and is the highlight of the film for me), Tom Cruise's character continuously knocks one billiard ball after the other into the pockets of the pool table, and the camera dollies non-stop around the table as he does so. An extremely complicated shot, pulled off with professional pinache by Scorsese.

Carlito's Way
The best of Brian DePalma's modern films, Carlito's Way features a wonderful trademark DePalma steadicam shot near the end; this shot follows Pacino's character in the subway station as he tries to elude the bad guys... It's wonderfully choreographed and filmed.
